My name is Chavez. I am a Roman Catholic freelance writer and social media content creator, originally from Hong Kong and currently based in Walsingham, Norfolk, United Kingdom.

My content creation work and personal research focus particularly on the Sacred Liturgy, the historic traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, ecclesiastical history, and contemporary Roman Catholic affairs. Through my writing and digital content, I seek to examine and communicate the richness of the Catholic faith, its liturgical heritage, and its continuing significance within the life and tradition of the Church.

I’m currenly working with EWTN Great Britain as a volunteering contributor, assisting with the filming, interviewing and media coverage of Catholic events across the UK country, including the annual March for Life in London, WeBelieve Festival in Birmingham and the Latin Mass Society annual pilgrimage in Walsingham. I also participated in the EWTN Summer Academy 2026 in Rome, where I further developed my interest in Catholic journalism, digital evangelization, and media communications.

Alongside my writing, media and content creation work, I have more than ten years of ceremonial and liturgical experience, having served as an Acolyte, Sacristan, and Liturgical Master of Ceremonies at Holy Mass and other sacred liturgical celebrations in various parishes and ecclesiastical communities throughout Hong Kong, Macau, and the United Kingdom.

Through my writing, liturgical service, content creation, and social media apostolate work, I seek to foster a deeper appreciation of the beauty of the Church’s worship, the continuity of Roman Catholic tradition, and the faithful transmission of the message of the Holy Gospels. My work is intended to contribute, in a modest way, to the preservation, study, and communication of the Church’s liturgical and ecclesiastical heritage.
